
Do prices include VAT?
All prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
How do you invoice me?
Unless otherwise stated, we will send you an invoice by email once your product has been received. You will then have 7 days to pay.
How do I supply my artwork?
We can supply a number of InDesign, Illustrator, EPS and PDF templates for most of our products for you to use. Please contact us and we will send you over the correct template.
If you are creating and supplying your own artwork, then we ask that it be saved as a press ready pdf. We require a minimum of 3mm bleeds and crop marks (but no other information is needed), CMYK and at least 300dpi. If you are supplying artwork for large banners, signs, exhibition stands etc then artwork can be saved at 50% of the final size. Please title your artwork to reflect the final size and the percentage it has been saved at.
How do I send my artwork?
We kindly ask you to send all your artwork files via our artwork upload service. This ensures that we receive your artwork correctly and prevents delay.
Do I have to use WeTransfer?
Whilst we prefer you to send your artwork files this way, if you have another service such as Dropbox, Filemail or Transfer Now then you can send your artwork files this way. If you do use Dropbox you will need to share a download link to your files/folder. You can find out how to do this via Dropbox.
Do you keep hold of artwork from past orders?
Links from WeTransfer will remain active for one month. After this, the link will be deleted. Unless you specifically ask us, we will not keep your artwork files on record.
Can I view a sample product before deciding to buy?
We will do our best to supply you with a sample. Please bear in mind there may be an additional charge and it will delay production.
Can you make changes to my artwork?
If your artwork has been supplied in an editable format, we will be able to make changes for you. If you require substantial changes, there will be an additional charge, but we will let you know in advance.
Will you let me know if there is anything wrong with my artwork?
If there is anything wrong with your artwork and we cannot use it for production, we will advise you of this as soon as possible to see how you would like to proceed.
Please note: we cannot be held responsible for issues arising from artwork that is incorrect such as spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, RGB colours, overprint, resolution, missing fonts and missing images. To avoid these issues please ensure your files meet our artwork requirements.
If an artwork size is different to the ordered size, the ordered size will always take precedence. We will do our best to check with you any discrepancies we find during pre-flighting. This includes low image quality, although we cannot be held responsible if the artwork is supplied in such a manner and isn’t suitable for your needs.
Will I get a proof for my order? How long does this take?
You can on request. If you are supplying print-ready files they should be good to go, but if you would like to see an electronic pdf proof, please let us know. Please note this may delay the turnaround time.
What file formats do you accept?
We prefer pdf, but can accept most formats – jpeg, png, tiff, eps, ai etc.
How long will my print take to be delivered?
Standard turnaround for most products is 3-4 working days, but for larger print runs or more complex finishing this may extend to between 7 and 10 days. Our turnaround time starts when your order details and artwork (and sometimes payment) have been received and confirmed (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm). Please note some products may take longer than the standard turnaround time.
Can I get my order turned around quicker?
Sometimes. This will depend on the size and type of the order and may be subject to additional charges. Please contact us on sales@sumocreative.co.uk
I need my order delivered to more than one address; can you do that?
Yes, we can deliver to more than one address although each address will be subject to its own delivery charge.
Do you send out packages as plain label?
Yes, all our consignments will be sent out under plain label. No paperwork or delivery notes will be included either.
Can you deliver direct to my customer?
Yes, we can deliver to any UK address.
We can also deliver to any non-UK address, however, this will incur additional delivery charges.
What should I do if my package looks damaged when it’s delivered?
Please make sure that you sign for your order as damaged otherwise it can be very difficult for us to claim back from the courier and resupply you with replacement items.
